Roller Plate Assembly

Bearing-Equipped Material Support for XR6 & XR12 CNC Rotary Cutters

Overview

Roller Plate Assemblies are size-specific support fixtures that sit on the machine's tooling rails and use bearings to support material as it rotates during cutting. Each plate is designed to handle a specific range of material sizes, with the size designation cut directly into the face of the plate for easy identification.

Roller plates are included with every XR6 and XR12 machine, with two of each size provided along with a starter set of bearings and hardware.

Key Specifications

Available Sizes (XR6) 1.5", 3", 4", 5.5", 7"
Available Sizes (XR12) 1.5", 3", 4", 6", 8", 10", 12"
Quantity Included Two of each size, plus starter set of bearings and hardware
Mounting (XR6) Single slot for single tool rail
Mounting (XR12) Double slot for dual tool rails
Compatibility XR6 and XR12 CNC Rotary Cutters

Functionality & Features

Bearing-Equipped Material Support

Each roller plate assembly features bearings on top that allow material to rotate freely while keeping it stable and supported along the length of the machine bed.

The forks on the bottom of the assembly sit down onto the machine's tooling rails, securing the plate in position. Installation is straightforward — the plates drop onto the frame tool rails and bolt down, just like all other XR tooling.

Size Selection

Each plate is clearly marked with its size cut directly into the face for easy identification. The size represents the maximum material diameter that plate will support.

How to choose: Select the size that is equal to or the next step above the material being run. For example, 5" material would use the 6" plate.

XR6 Roller Plates

When to Use Roller Plates

  • Supporting round tube and pipe during rotation along the machine bed
  • Providing stable, low-friction bearing contact for material as it rotates during cutting, marking, or drilling operations
  • Positioning along the bed to support long material at multiple points

Note: Roller plates are designed for round material. For square tubing, rectangular tubing, and angle iron, use the appropriate stabilizer attachment.
